ISH has a wide range of rooms available from premium single ensuites to quad rooms which are like dormitories.
Location and surrounding area
"I love that everything is within reach - a short walk and you’re in London’s famous Soho and Chinatown areas. I loved exploring the city and finding hidden little gems like second-hand book shops and amazing buildings" - Alexandra, Romania.
Although ISH is right in the middle of London it's location is fairly quiet. We’re a short walk away from some of London's most beautiful parks, two Tube stations and there is a 24/7 shop right outside.
Travelling to and from Uni
Address: 229 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PN
Train: Regent's park (Bakerloo), Warren st (Northern and Victoria)
Securing a room
The contract is held with ISH not Ravensbourne so you will need to book a room through ISH.
Important: Please be advised that you will be required to pay a deposit. This might be before you receive any maintenance loan payments from Student Finance England (first payment is usually received end of October) so please ensure you have enough funds.
Under 18s
Due to child protection a majority of student accommodation providers will not accept bookings from students who will be under the age of 18 on the first day of their course.
The exception to this rule, is McMillan who are able to take a limited number of under 18 students.
Another option could be staying with a host family.
"We’re super close to Oxford Street and Regent’s Park, so you can get the big city lights or quiet nature whenever you want. There’s so much good food too!" - Zuzanna, Poland.
