Spend three weeks in London, one of the world's leading film destinations. Learn and participate in all aspects of the filmmaking process, from script to screen. You’ll be taught by leading tutors from the British Film Institute (BFI) and Ravensbourne University London. In addition, you’ll have access to masterclasses from leading industry figures.
Who is the course for?
The course is ideally suited to graduates (18+) undertaking postgraduate studies in film and media or those actively pursuing a career in the industry and looking for an in-depth insight into the filmmaking process. Based at Ravensbourne’s campus in North Greenwich, you will be able to take advantage of state of the art equipment and first-class facilities.
About the course
Taught in small class sizes (no more than 8), our three-week film school will start with the script review and commissioning process before taking you through storyboarding, shooting, working with and directing actors, editing and pitching your film.
The course will culminate with a final day screening of your completed film at the BFI. You will work with industry experts across the whole process, and there are further opportunities to get a real overview of the UK’s film and TV sector through optional trips, visits, and experiences.
